Nurlan Ospanov is a Senior lecturer. Graduated from the Faculty of Oriental Studies of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University as a bachelor of regional studies (Korean Peninsula). Attended graduate program of the Oriental Studies of the abovementioned faculty and university. Was among the 15 winners of the Korean History Competition held by the government of the Republic of Korea. As a one of the 15 winners participated in a 5-day cultural program in Seoul. Received a one-time scholarship from the Republic of Korea under the Korea Foundation program. In the period from September 1, 2011 to July 16, 2012, passed an fellowship program in the city of Seongnam on a grant from the Academy of Korean Studies Research scholarship on the topic: Republic of Korea at the United Nations. Entered PhD program Al-Farabi Kazakh National University with a degree of Oriental Studies (Korean Studies). From August 25, 2014 to January 15, 2015, completed an overseas internship under the PhD doctoral program at Inha University (Incheon, Republic of Korea). (Consultations with foreign scientific advisor Kim Eui Kon). In the period from September 21, 2016 to March 18, 2017, attended a fellowship programme of the international Erasmus + program of the European Commission (Catholic University of Louvain, laboratory of advanced anthropology). During the fellowship programme,visited a course of seminars on anthropology, consulted with professors on international issues, and was engaged in the collection of materials at the Royal Library of Belgium and the University of Louvain-la-Neuve. In 2017, continued a three-month scientific internship under the Erasmus + program at Louvain-la-Neuve University.
